Simple Stretches to Improve Flexibility & Mobility

Stretching and mobility exercises are critical as we age as they help to maintain independence by counteracting age-related muscle tightening and joint stiffness.

Regular stretching improves range of motion for daily tasks, boosts balance to prevent falls, reduces pain from stiff muscles/joints, and keeps arteries flexible.

By following this plan, you will gradually improve your flexibility, increase your range of motion, and feel more relaxed. Each exercise helps to reduce tension, prevent injuries, and maintain healthy joints and muscles.

Make sure to listen to your body and modify the stretches if needed to suit your comfort level.
